The red panda is found in the dense forests of the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China. It is solitary in nature and a skilled climber, using its long, bushy tail for balance. Sadly, due to habitat loss and poaching, these animals are classified as endangered. This red panda was photographed in captivity.
