Skógafoss, Iceland
Skógafoss
2025

Skógafoss is one of the largest waterfalls in Iceland, with a vertical drop of 60 metres. The water cascades from former sea cliffs that marked Iceland’s coastline thousands of years ago, before the landscape rose and the shoreline receded. The waterfall produces a constant spray, which forms a rainbow on sunny days, as can be faintly seen in this image.
