Uluru

Uluru is a massive sandstone monolith in the centre of Australia. I shot this image late in the evening just after sunset. A phenomenon known as the Belt of Venus is visible which is caused by the Earth's shadow being cast onto the atmosphere, and results in a distinctive band of blue and pink hues in the sky.
